Finally got to my craft room and just had a play with my distress inks and my new Tim Holtz dies. Also tried using tissue paper and matt medium for the first time. Really enjoyed doing something different. Hope you like. My new kitten helped me with the one card lololol

Hope you having a great weekend. Raining here so made this card for a friend's birthday whilst I'm waiting for my bread to prove. Used one of my favourite stamp sets, Vintage Vogue. Lavinia Scene

I recently attended a class on brayering so came home and was inspired to make this card using my Lavinia stamps. It was made for a special friend who is having surgery this week and her favourite colour is purple. Happy crafting everyone x

Easy but effective technique used......stamped images on watercolour paper then spritzed with water!! I really love this effect.

Apothecary Art

Evening everyone, hope you enjoying this fab weather.......hope this isn't our summer !!!
Well, packed up my craft room as solicitors said we should be moving tomorrow. Now unpacked it seeing its Thursday and they still haven't exchanged contracts!!! So, consoled myself by crafting hehehehe.

Today's make:

Background paper was a retired one to use it up but really wanted to use papers from Comfort Cafe
Stamped border was achieved using Early Expresso ink and the scroll stamp from Everything Eleanor. The scalloped strip was done using dotted scallop ribbon punch.
I cut a piece of Early Expresso card using a framelits Label die.
I stamped using Early Expresso ink onto Crumb Cake card then die cut with framelit labels and positioned it onto the Early expresso card.
I made a flower using the retired paper and the Boho Blossoms punch. To finish, I used Crumb Cake ink on white card then punched using Word Window punch and stamped forever from Fabulous Phrases set. Pearls were used to complete the card.

Wow....... 2 cards in one night...need to sit down now....not used to that much hard work hehehehe

Good news.....my cat came home after 4 days. As she's an indoor cat, I was panicking....think she is traumatised as she won't leave my alone. Let's hope she thinks twice about escaping again!!!

 My SU order arrived last week and been dying to play with my new stamps but life been busy so only today did I get a spare 30 mins to make a quick card. I cased this from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2084155.

Feeling Sentimental

Hi,

sorry not posted for a while.....started back to work after 11 months off and still suffering after effects of the chemotherapy so been too tired to do much. Was hoping to craft on the weekend but I've lost one of my cats. She's a house cat and escaped the garden. Been frantically looking for her. Also, going to be a busy time ahead as supposed to me moving next week.....think I need the world to stop just to give me a little break lol.
