well, my brain is being very creative this week (really not like me!!!). Have a couple of altered art projects on the go but this one I completed today. Hope you like. As usual these days I had the help of the wonderful Tim Holtz i.e. distress stains, distress paints and his caged bird die. My new purchase of Treasure silver is being used lots and I've only had it 2 days lololol. Take care all x
Welcome To My Blog
Hi everyone!!
My name is Jan and I live near Cardiff with my husband, dog and my 3 gorgeous Birman cats. Everyone who knows me, knows that I am mad about cats. I gave up breeding thema couple of years ago and can't wait to start again. In the meantime, crafting has become my new obsession.
I have been card making for about 6 years now but it is only recently that I have discovered a real love of stamping and hope to share that with you in the future.

Tim Holtz in Purple
Had to have a play with my new umbrella man die and the Tim Holtz embossing folder. Inked the embossed card with distress inks: stormy cloud, seedless preserves and spiced marmalade. I used cosmic shimmer tarnished gold to edge the card then placed on Graphic 45 paper. The sentiment is from IndigoBlu and I distressed the edge of the topper then inked with stormy sky. Hope you like.

Card in a Box
Hi, this is my second attempt at doing a card in a box and I really enjoyed doing.......used various stamps from Stampin Up, Beau Chateau papers (SU) and SU Chocolate Chip & Baby Blue inks. This was made for a friend's birthday on the weekend. She has an allotment so wanted a garden theme card, didn't have any vegetable stamps so flowers it was lololol.

Heartfelt Creations
Hi, what a glorious day it is today. Table and chairs out of storage on now on the patin. Just had lunch in the sun. Doesn't get much better than this especially as made a card today. It's a friend's birthday next week so got my act together early!!!
I stamped using my new Heartfelt Creations stamp set and did the embossed resist technique on the topper. Of course, I used my trusty distress inks (wild honey, mustard seed, spiced marmalade and fired brick) for the rest !!! Have a fab Sunday x
